David was born in 1784 in BERTIE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA.1 David's father was Henry Holland and his mother was Sarah Clay. His paternal grandfather was Henry Holland. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Dempsey, William, Frederick, James, John, Elizabeth, Mary and Sarah. He died about 1850 in HENRY HOLLAND CEMETERY.1 -
