Amanda Malinda Holden

Amanda Malinda was born on December 10th, 1857 in Clayton, Rabun, Georgia.¹   Amanda Malinda's father was William Holden and her mother was Martha Nicholson.  Her paternal grandfather was John Holden; her maternal grandparents were Ira Nicholson and Jane Palmour. She had five brothers and six sisters, named John, William, Ira, Andrew Perkins, Virgil Franklin, Adeline, Minerva, Jane, Harriet [Hattie], Sue and Martha.  She was the fourth youngest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 55 on February 2nd, 1913.¹
