Samuel Catmull was born on August 8th, 1888 in Benson, Cache, Utah.1   Samuel Catmull's father was James Thomas Hobbs and his mother was Martha Catmull.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 54 on December 29th, 1942 in Benson, Cache, Utah.  He was buried on January 2nd, 1943 in Logan, Cache, Utah.1 1
