Ruby Hawkins 
Ruby's father was Nicholas Grant Hawkins and her mother was Olive Coquise Terry. Her paternal grandparents were John W. Hawkins and Mary J. Lewis; her maternal grandparents were Joseph William Terry and Susan F. Dawson. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Alvin Leroy, Donald, Guy, Berdina and Bessie.-
