Desire Hawes 
Desire was born on August 30th, 1670.1 Desire's father was Obadiah Hawes and her mother was Mary Humphrey. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Hawes and Ann Unknown; her maternal grandfather was Elder James Humphrey. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Obadiah, James, Ebenezer, Richard, Mary and Sarah. She was the third youngest of the seven children.1 -
