Ida De was born about 1218 in Of, Ashill, Norfolk, England.1 Ida De's father was Henry Hastings and her mother was Ada Scott. Her paternal grandparents were William Hastings and Margaret (Margery) Bigod; her maternal grandparents were David Scott and Maud Scott. She had a brother and two sisters, named Henry, Margaret and Eleanor (Hillaria). She was the oldest of the four children.1 -
