John was born on December 3rd, 1690.1   John's father was John Harvey and his mother was Sarah Barnes.  His paternal grandparents were William Harvey and Martha Copp. He had a brother and two sisters, named Joseph, Judith and Dorothy.  He died at the age of 49 on May 10th, 1740.1
