Ann was born about 1679 in Watertown, Litchfield, Connecticut.1 Ann's father was Edward Grannis and her mother was Hannah Wakefield. Her maternal grandparents were John Wakefield and Ann Unknown. She had two brothers and four sisters, named John, Joseph, Hannah, Mehitable, Abigail and Sarah. She had a half-brother named Joseph.2 -
