Avice Gladwyn

Avice was born in September 1561 in Stanford Rivers, Essex, England.¹ Avice's father was George Dowsett and her mother was Joan Gladwyn. Her maternal grandfather was Robert Gladwyn. She had three brothers and three sisters, named William, George, Gabriel, Alice, Elizabeth and Katherine. She was the oldest of the seven children.¹
