Benjamin was born about 1736.1   Benjamin's father was Louis Giguere and his mother was Elizabeth Deguire.  His paternal grandparents were Martin Giguere and Marie Francoise Pinard; his maternal grandparents were Pierre Deguire and Jeanne Gazaille. He had four brothers and eight sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Louis Pierre, Joseph, Pierre, Jacques, Marie, Jeanne Therese, Genevieve, Madeleine, Marie Elizabeth, Thesese, Marie Anne, Agatha and Child.  He was the fifth youngest of the fourteen children.  He died in 1736.1
