John Gifford

John was born on May 2nd, 1717 in Sandwich, Massachusetts.¹ John's father was Josiah Gifford and his mother was Mercy Chadwick. His paternal grandparents were John Gifford and Elishua Crow. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Christopher, Benjamin, Samuel, Abigail, Rhoda and Hannah.¹
