Betsey George

Betsey was born in 1796.¹ Betsey's father was Austin George and her mother was Sarah Bradbury. Her paternal grandparents were John Swaddock George and Sarah Ash; her maternal grandparents were Sanders Bradbury and Sarah Colby. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named John Swaddock, William, Nathaniel, Phineas, Austin, Patrick, Dennis, Scott, Sally and Emily. She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.¹
