Abigail was born on January 16th, 1768.1   Abigail's father was John Swaddock George and her mother was Sarah Ash.  Her paternal grandparents were John George and Ann Swaddock; her maternal grandparents were Nathaniel Ash and Elizabeth Brock. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Austin, Nathaniel Ash, Ezekiel, Mary and Elizabeth. She had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named David, John, Austin, Samuel, Gideon, Abigail, Anne, Sarah and Mary.1
