Tapher Geer 
Tapher was born in 1853 in Lower Canada.1 Tapher's father was Edmond Geer and her mother was Almira Bartlett. Her paternal grandparents were Silas Geer and Susannah Stewart; her maternal grandparents were Philip Bartlett and Tapher Unknown. She had four brothers and a sister, named Gardner Talmadge, Silas, George Page, Philip and Mary. She was the third oldest of the six children.1 -
