Augustus Geer 
Augustus was born in 1797 in Swanton, Franklin, Vt and his baptism took place on January 21st, 1838 in Shefford twp, Quebec, CANADA.1 Augustus' father was Silas Geer and his mother was Sarah (Sally) Swan. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Geer and Unknown Woods. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Silas, Samuel, Sarah, Polly E and Charity. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 75 in 1872 in Il.1 General Notes
