Cybel was born on June 7th, 1797.1   Cybel's father was Daniel Gardner and her mother was Elizabeth Bennett.  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Gardner and Judith Andrews. She had seven brothers and six sisters, named Joseph, Weatham, Charles H., Calob R., William M., Palee, Noel A.A.D., Sarah, Judith, Amira, Lydia, Elizabeth and Amy Jane.  She was the second oldest of the fourteen children.1
