Oliver was born on May 7th, 1649 in Quebec, Province of Quebec, Canada. Oliver's father was Louis Gagne\Gasnier and his mother was Marie Michel. His paternal grandparents were Louis Gagne\Gasnier and Marie Launay; his maternal grandparents were Pierre Michel and Louise Gory. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Louis, Pierre, Louis, Joachim, Ignace, Marie and Anne. He died before April 17th, 1730 in St. Francois, Ill d'Orleans, Canada.-
