Benoni was born in 1656 in Branford, New Haven, CT.1   Benoni's father was Edward Frisbie and his mother was Hannah Unknown. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named John, Edward, Samuel, Jonathan, Caleb, Ebenezer, Josiah, Abigail, Hannah and Silence.  He died at the age of 44 in November 1700 in Branford, New Haven, CT.1
