Marguertie was born about 1638 in La ville de L'Hermenault, au Poitou, diocese de Lucon.  Marguertie's father was Pierre Foye and her mother was Catherine Blanchard.  She was an only child.  She died in St. Jean Ile d'Orleans, Province of Quebec, Canada.
