Mary Ann was born in 1832.1   Mary Ann's father was Joseph Fountaine and her mother was Angelica Unkown. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Theophile, Andrew, Joseph, Henry, Agatha and Josetta.  She was the second oldest of the seven children.1
