Gertrude Fortescue

Gertrude was born about 1538 in Mt.Drake,Devonshire,England.¹ Gertrude's father was Bartholomew Fortescue and her mother was Ellen Moore. Her paternal grandparents were John Fortescue and Jacquet Saint Leger; her maternal grandparents were Morris Moore and Cicely Bonville. She was an only child.¹
