James Hendley Fordham

James Hendley was born on June 15th, 1895.¹   James Hendley's father was Charlie Edgar Fordham and his mother was Victoria Scarboro.  His paternal grandparents were Wiley Fordham and Lucretia Cannon. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Irvin Oscar, Wiley, Emma Louise, Anne Hassie, Lizzie Mae, Mary Ollie, Bertha, Myrtle Victoria and Willie. He had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Johnny "Buddy", Frank, Morgan, C. W., Grady Brooks, Bernice, Eva Lee, Maggie and Elsie.  He died at the age of 66 on August 12th, 1961.¹
