Samuel was born in September 1703 in Hartford, Hartford, CT.1   Samuel's father was John Forbes and his mother was Mary Griffin. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, John, Lydia and Mary.  He died at the age of 53 on April 26th, 1757 in East Haven, New Haven, CT.1
