Roger Fitzrobert

Roger was born about 1112 in Of, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England.¹ Roger's father was Robert "The King's Caen and his mother was Maud (Mabel) (Sibyl) Fitzrobert. His paternal grandfather was Henry I Beauclerc; his maternal grandparents were Robert Fitzhamon and Matilda Sibyl De Montgomery. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Hamon, William, Philip, Richard, Robert, Emma, Mabel and Maud. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died on August 9th, 1179 in Tours, France.¹
