George Fitzhugh 
George was born in 1790 in King George, VA.1 George's father was Peter Fitzhugh and his mother was Nancy Dawson. His paternal grandparents were Robert Fitzhugh and Margaret Unknown; his maternal grandparents were John Dawson and Susannah Wood. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Robert, John, Galbriel, Solomon, Patsy Martha, Nancy, Betsy, Margaret and Polly. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 73 in 1863.1 -
