Alethia was born in North Carolina?.1   Alethia's father was Peter Finn and her mother was Mary Wheeler.  Her paternal grandfather was Shadrack Finn. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Peter, Shadrack, Meshach, Abednigo, William, John, Benjamin, Mary, Nancy, Isabellia and Rebecca.1
