Abigail was born in 1643 in Windsor, CT.1   Abigail's father was Walter Filer(Fyler) and her mother was Jane Irving. She had four brothers and a sister, named John, Zerubbabel, Samuel, Stephen and Johanna.  She was the second oldest of the six children.1
