John Ellis 
John was born on September 14th, 1623 in England.1 John's father was John Ellis and his mother was Miss Masterson. He was an only child. He died at the age of 73 on April 2nd, 1697 in Sandwich, Massachusetts.1 General Notes

John Ellis ( ? -1677) came from England in the 'Fortune' in 1621, was one of the first settlers of Sandwich, Mass in 1643, and was appointed to train militia in what was then called the Sandwich Train Band. He was a lieut and commanding officer for many years.
