Lovina Clarisa was born on February 24th, 1865 in Attleborough, Norfolk, England.¹ Lovina Clarisa's father was Richard Dye and her mother was Sarah Kemp. Her maternal grandparents were Robert Kemp and Martha Button. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named Robert, William, Hyrum, Heber Charles, Edmund Willard, Samuel, John Hyrum, Sarah Ann and Rebecca. She was the youngest of the ten children.
