Jean Robert was born about 1655 in St. Porchaire de Poitiers, Poitou, France.  Jean Robert's father was Jacques Duprat and his mother was Francoise Lamoureux.  He was an only child.  He was buried on August 30th, 1726 in Beaupre, Province of Quebec, Canada.
