John Duncan 
John was born about 1814 in ,Miami,OH.1 John's father was Amos (Enos) Duncan and his mother was Rachel Coate. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Duncan and Mary Embree. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, Nelson, Moses, Aaron, Amos, Sarah and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the eight children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Isaac and Mary.1 -
