Wilhelm was born on May 21st, 1866 in Schwemlitz, Hanover, Ger.1   Wilhelm's father was Wilhelm Droegemueller and his mother was Maria Meyer. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Adolph H, Augusta, Hedwig, Maria, Mina, Anna, Emma and Clara Maria.  He was the oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 59 in 1925 in Bloomingdale, DuPage, Il.1
