!Obituary:
!Clara Dosch Arnold Tingle was born April 17, 1844, near Avilla, and
passed away Dec. 28, 1931 at Cleveland, OH. Aged 87 years, 8 months, 11
days. She was baptised and confirmed in the Lutheran Church, of which
she remained a faithful member.
!She leaves to mourn her departure four children: George Arnold of Gary,
IN; Eugene Arnold of Indianapolis, IN; Mrs. Rose Coy, and Mrs. Ethel
Moore of Cleveland, OH; one half brother, Charles Gillian of this place;
two half sisters, Mrs. Mary Holmes of Kendallville, In, and Mrs. Kate
Schneider of this place; 16 grandchildren. Also 3 stepchildren: Mrs. Ada
Howell of Chicago; Mrs. Emma Faulener of Toledo, OH, and Mrs. Pearl
Washburn ofWillard, OH, and many other relatives and friends.
!Funeral services were held at the Lutheran Church at Avilla, Wednesday,
December 31st at 1:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Paul Noffze. Burial at
the Avilla cemetery, under the direction of Homer B. McClellan.
