William Dewey 
William was born on September 21st, 1803 in Chelsea, VT.1 William's father was David Dewey and his mother was Heta (Hittie) Wright. His paternal grandparents were William Dewey and Rebecca Carrier; his maternal grandparents were John Wright and Mehetable. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Jesse, David, Thomas, Thedia, Betsey, Elizabeth, Mary Ann and Heta Maria. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 80 on January 28th, 1884 in Hanover, Graft., NH age 80.1 -
