Silas Dewey 
Silas was born on March 31st, 1817 in Berlin, VT.1 Silas' father was Henry Dewey and his mother was Amelia L. Dutton. His paternal grandparents were William Dewey and Rebecca Carrier; his maternal grandparents were Abel Dutton and Susannah Unknown. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Henry Alber, Henry Alber, Harriet Amelia and Zilpha Brooks. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at just 5 days old on April 5th, 1817 in Berlin, VT.1 -
