Saxton Dewey 
Saxton was born on December 25th, 1759 in Lebanon, CT.1 Saxton's father was Elijah Dewey and his mother was Abigail Martin. His paternal grandparents were William Dewey and Mercy Bailey. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Elijah, Martin, William, Zerviah, Theoda, Jerusha, Hannah and Jemima. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.1 -
