Ransom Palmer Dewey 
Ransom Palmer was born on July 14th, 1839.1 Ransom Palmer's father was Josiah F. Dewey and his mother was Lydia Eames. His paternal grandparents were Josiah Dewey and Hannah Babcock. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Louis, George W., Joseph Warren, Augusta, Orinda, Mary and Lydia Jane. He was the second youngest of the eight children.1 -
