Lucy Parthenia was born on August 3rd, 1835 in Hanover, Graft., NH.1 Lucy Parthenia's father was Elias Dewey and her mother was Mary Newell. Her paternal grandparents were William Dewey and Rebecca Carrier. She had six sisters named Lucinda Rebecca, Sarah Jane, Eliza Maria, Adna, Mary Adaline and Anna Frances. She was the second youngest of the seven children.1 -
