Jane Eliza was born on September 1st, 1843 in Berlin, VT.1 Jane Eliza's father was Zenas Coleman Dewey and her mother was Eliza Page. Her paternal grandparents were Simeon Dewey and Prudence Yemans; her maternal grandparents were John Page and Bathsheba. She had three brothers and a sister, named John Page, George Harrison, Albert C. and Mary Jane. She was the youngest of the five children.1 -
