Gertrude May Dewey 
Gertrude May was born on September 18th, 1862 in Montpelier, VT.1 Gertrude May's father was Charles Dewey and her mother was Betsey Lund Tarbox. Her paternal grandparents were Julius Yemans Dewey and Mary Perrin; her maternal grandparents were Lund Tarbox and Susan Edson. She had three brothers and five sisters, named William Tarbox, George Perrin, Charles Robert, Frances Isabella, Ella Luthera, Jennie, Mary Grace and Kate. She was the third youngest of the nine children.1 -
