Edwin Elliott Dewey 
Edwin Elliott was born on February 20th, 1834 in Berlin, VT.1 Edwin Elliott's father was Isaac Tichenor Dewey and his mother was Almira Smith. His paternal grandparents were Simeon Dewey and Prudence Yemans; his maternal grandfather was Ezekiel Smith. He had a brother and two sisters, named Arthur Phillipson, Annette Amelia and Juliette Almira. He was the second oldest of the four children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named James Wentworth and Sarah Taylor. He died at the age of 30 on August 7th, 1864 in David's Island, NY.1 -
