Anne Best was born on September 1st, 1880 in Montpelier, VT.1 Anne Best's father was Orville Dewey and her mother was Fannie Williams. Her paternal grandparents were Osman Dewey and Mrs. Rebecca (Davis) Farwell; her maternal grandparents were Freeman Williams and Maria Egerton. She had three brothers and a sister, named Denison I., Walter W., Marion B. and Alice. She was the youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 6 on June 8th, 1887 in Montpelier, VT.1 -
