James Denton

James was born in 1693 in Jamaica, Queens, New York.¹   James' father was Nathaniel Denton and his mother was Elizabeth Smith. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Nathaniel, Robert, Nehemiah, Timothy, Catherine, Deborah and Martha.  He was the third oldest of the eight children.¹
