John was born on April 7th, 1605 in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, England.1   John's father was William Denison and his mother was Margaret Chandler.  His paternal grandparents were John Denison and Agnes Willie Or Wylie; his maternal grandparents were Tobias Chandler and Joan Momford. He had six brothers and a sister, named William, George, Daniel, Edward, George, Daniel and Sarah.  He was the oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 77 in 1682 in MA.1
