Charles Leander Day 
Charles Leander was born on August 15th, 1830.1 Charles Leander's father was Lester Day and his mother was Caroline Goss. His paternal grandparents were Moses Day and Polly Carew. He had three brothers and four sisters, named James Watson, James Henry, Joseph C., Mary Elizabeth, Eunice S., Lydia C. and Adelpha A.. He was the oldest of the eight children.1 -
