Robert was born about 1705.1   Robert's father was Nathaniel Davis and his mother was Mary Hughes.  His maternal grandmother was Nicketti Powhatans. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Philip, Samuel, Mary and Martha.  He died in 1771.1
