John Tilton Davis 
John Tilton was born on August 15th, 1818.1 John Tilton's father was Jeremiah Davis and his mother was Jedidah Tilton. His paternal grandparents were James Davis and Sally; his maternal grandparents were John Tilton and Bethia Unknown. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Nathan Tilton, David Isaac, Charles Wesley, Irena Wells and Caroline Abigail. He was the third youngest of the six children.1 -
