Maud D' Avranches 
Maud was born about 1054 in Avranches, Normandy, France.1 Maud's father was Richard D'Avranches and her mother was Emma DeConteville. Her paternal grandparents were Toustien LeGoz and Judith De Montanolier; her maternal grandparents were Harlevin DeConteville and Harlette DeFalaise. She had a brother and two sisters, named Hugh "Vras" "Le, Judith and Arbella Loup. She was the second youngest of the four children.2 -
