Samuel Cooley

Samuel was born on February 1st, 1772 in Wallingford, CT..¹   Samuel's father was Asahel Cooley and his mother was Sarah Merwin. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Jehiel, Asahel, Israel, Israel, Sarah, Chloe, Mary and Sarah.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 68 on August 5th, 1840 in Honesdale, PA..¹
