Living's father was Barney Cook and her mother was Clara Belle Fritch. Her paternal grandparents were Arthur Cook and Mable Seitherland; her maternal grandparents were Charles Henry Fritch and Gertrude M. Smith. She had two brothers named Living and Living. She had three half-sisters named Betty Glee, Living and Living.-
